The
demolition
of the
main
deck
bathrooms
has been
completed
and the
third
deck
foyer
floor
has been
completely
rebuilt.
The
fourth
deck has
been
tarped
and
sealed.
The
second
deck
foyer is
now
watertight.

The
cabin area
on both
port and
starboard
side
have
been
stripped
down to
the
steel.
Despite
all the
years of
water
damage
and
neglect,
the
majority
of the
structural
components
are
intact
and
stronger
than any
of us
thought.
Sand
blasting
is to
follow
soon and
then the
rebuild
of the
main
deck
cabins.
A new
concession
stand
will be
added at
the
stern as
well
as several
new features never
seen
before
on
the Ste.
Claire. Not
too
worry
though, when
you walk
on
the boat
next
year,
she will
look
the same
as you
remember
her only
with a
21st
century
upgrade. |
